My 22 month old had been wanting a bike ever since she saw a little girl riding one with training wheels. Well one day my wife brought home a barbie house and bike and immediately this is what she did.....

Later that day it was off to drum practice.....

Then some cake....

after all that....nite nite

What a gift!!!

Now, that is special!

I remember as if it were yesterday when my 14yo daughter was perfoming similar antics. Ah, fond memories. She's starting high school this Fall. Geez, I better stop, I'm starting to feel old.

Enjoy this time while you can, Brian. It's golden.

Best,

Michael

Brian I know exactly what you mean, my little girl just turned two. The most rewarding gift you'll ever have.

Great pix, Brian. Is she about to doze off in the last shot?

Know what you mean about memmories. It seems only a few years back I had two daughters pre-school age. Now, one has graduated college and the other will in two years. For you with younger kids, spend every minute you are able with them. You, and they, will never have regrets.

Steve,
She was actually asleep in that position. Lately this has been one of her napping spots. It seems really uncomfortable to me but I guess to a worn out toddler it isn't so bad.

Thank you all for your comments, she is the last of four (I think ). Having two older brothers and one older sister she is as spoiled as can be and observing her you might think that she planned it that way. It has been said that children are a gift from God, all I can say to that is; what awesome way to bring an indescribable joy into my life!

Brian,
She is adorable! I have a 27yr old Son(going on 12), a 7 yr old daughter ( going on 27), and a 5yr old ( going on and on and on). Kids are truely a gift from God. As you know the moments that you captured n film are fleeting. Enjoy them to their fullest! God Bless your children!

Makes me ready for my daughter and son-in-law to get busy on the grandkids!

Dave,
LOL, Having them from 18yrs 22mos. I can somehow identify with that. Thanks for the blessing and the advise!!

Jeff,
Thank you, I hope Grandkids come healthy and soon for you!! Her name is Tristen Claire Hawkins, My wife chose the name and it really does fit her personality. I actually drove 1 1/2 hrs out of my way today just to spend 20 minutes with her.

Carlton,
I ma keeping it balanced, here is a picture of her (at an earlier age) checking the tap on some red spruce...

Brian,

Well, she seems to like what she's hearing! I bet that right after the photo she gave your spruce the "little luthier's taste test", too.

Brian,

Great pictures. The first picture got me thinking, thats probably the way I look on a bike since I'm a tad bit overweight well...maybe considerably more than a tad bit

Brian,
Your daughter is a cutie!! I've got two daughters myself. When the time comes, I'd say when they turn 13 or so, you're more than welcome to borrow my Remington Model 1100 shotgun for the first boy that rings the doorbell Colonial Tonwds38554.8012731482

How about a modified choke? That ought to cover some territory.

minefields work well, with razor wire, night vision devices, inground sonic detectors and above ground motion and ir detectors and...what tha'... blast those what if dreams... they'll do what they'll do so raise 'em well and guide if you can, for by the time they are ready to step out you can kiss "control" goodbye.

and my little girl is almost 35 and no.1 son is 41, both having made me a grandfather several times over and never even had the courtesy to ask me if it was ok to change my status in life. oldest grand is 14 now whilst youngest is 13 days.

Boys--you can't eliminate them all! Just ask your father-in-law!
